19.4.2018 - The IP5 Offices will launch a pilot project on 1 July 2018 to test a collaborative approach to international searches under the PCT.

26.3.2018 - The fifth Global Dossier Task Force (GDTF) meeting took place in Tokyo, Japan on 31 January 2018. Presentations from the meeting are now available on the fiveIPoffices' website.

14.3.2018 - The second Industry Consultation Group (ICG) meeting took place in Tokyo, Japan on 1 February 2018. Presentations from the meeting are now available on the fiveIPoffices' website.

9.2.2018 - The IP5 Industry Consultation Group (ICG) met in Tokyo on 1 February 2018 to discuss amongst others the work of the IP5 Patent Harmonization Expert Panel (PHEP), the PCT Collaborative Search and Examination (CS&E) pilot programme and a potential new stage of work-sharing.

28.11.2017 - The IP5 Offices have released the 2016 Edition of the IP5 Statistics Report highlighting filing trends and describing their activities in 2016.

14.6.2017 - The IP5 Heads of Office met with representatives of industry from the IP5 regions in Valletta, Malta on 31 May 2017. Presentations of the meeting are now available on the fiveIPoffices' website.

1.6.2017 - The IP5 Heads of Office met in Valletta, Malta on 1 June 2017 to take stock of achievements in the last decade of IP5 co-operation and decide the future direction of their initiatives.

31.5.2017 - The EPO and SIPO have together launched the first Global Dossier “alerting” function for EPO and SIPO file wrapper data.
