On 22 June 2021, the IP5 Heads of Office met with IP5 Industry in a video conference hosted by the JPO, to update the industry representatives on recent developments in IP5 initiatives such as the harmonization of patent practices and procedures and the IP5 NET/AI roadmap. The IP5 Offices and IP5 Industry also discussed co-operation in the post-COVID-19 era. The IP5 industry associations expressed their support for the IP5 Offices' initiatives and confirmed that they will continue to engage in dialogue and co-operation with the offices.
